Banker 2024 Awards: Zenith Bank Named “Most Sustainable Bank in Nigeria
One of Nigeria’s leading financial institution, Zenith Bank Plc, has been named the “Most Sustainable Bank” in Nigeria, at the International Banker 2024 Banking Awards, retaining the title for the second consecutive year.
Commenting on the award, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, said,

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has lifted the ban on new account openings placed on OPay, Moniepoint, Kuda, PalmPay, and Paga. In April 2024, the CBN directed all five fintechs to pause onboarding new customers as part of efforts to combat fraud in the industry.
