Tunisian Fintech Startup My Easy Transfer, Raises $420k Funding to Expand Its Offering

Tunisian Fintech startup My Easy Transfer, has raised $420,000 funding to accelerate its growth and expand its offering.

The funding was secured from VC firm 216 capital, and the startup announced that it will be used to evolve its platform in order to meet all the payment needs of the diaspora, money transfers, sending mobile top-ups, local bill payments, among others in a single application.

My Easy Transfer also plans to evolve its model to become the first payment Super App for the diaspora, strengthening its presence in Tunisia through new partnerships and expanding into new markets in Africa such as Morocco, Mali, and Senegal.

Speaking on the funds raised, partner at 216 capital said, 

“My Easy Transfer represents immense potential, capable of transforming the financial landscape and offering faster and more economical solutions for users”.

Also speaking, My Easy Transfer Co-founder Ismail Khenissi said, 

“We want to offer every Tunisian living abroad the possibility of managing all their financial transactions to Tunisia from their smartphone with our platform”.

Founded in 2022 by Ismail Khenissi and jabrane khenissi, My Easy Transfer aims to simplify money transfer services from the Tunisian diaspora to their families inside the country.

In a mere span of one year, My Easy Transfer has seen impressive growth, securing over 10,000 customers and becoming a symbol of financial innovation within the diaspora community. The company aims to revolutionize the money transfer and financial service sector, providing its users with a quicker and more efficient way of handling transactions.

Also, it plans to consolidate several services, such as transferring money, mobile recharge, and local bill payments, into one easy-to-use mobile applications.
