Diamond Trust Bank Partners with Network International to Enhance Digital Payment Solutions

Diamond Trust Bank (DTB), a leading tier-one bank listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) with a rich history spanning over 75 years and 155 branches across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Burundi, has announced a strategic partnership with Network International. Network International, a prominent enabler of digital commerce in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), will support DTB in its efforts to innovate and expand its digital product offerings.

This collaboration is aimed at strengthening DTB’s digital-first strategy in the Kenyan market, which is experiencing increasing demand for digital payment solutions due to higher internet penetration and widespread mobile phone usage. Through this partnership, Network International will provide DTB with an advanced processing platform for card hosting and issuing, covering debit, credit, and prepaid card services, as well as e-commerce solutions. Additionally, DTB will benefit from enhanced security features including card fraud prevention, 3D Secure authentication, and card control solutions.

Jamie Loden, Chief Operating Officer at DTB, highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating, “Our collaboration with Network International represents a significant step in expanding our capabilities and enhancing our services in a dynamic digital landscape. It aligns with our goal to include more citizens in the formal financial system and meets the increasing demand for advanced card and digital banking experiences that are convenient, safe, and seamless.”
