Stitch Partners Vodafone Financial Services to Enhance VodaPay Wallet

Stitch, a payments service provider offering a single, powerful, reliable API built on direct integrations with multiple banks and networks across South Africa, has partnered with Vodacom Financial Services to bring their customers a faster, more convenient way to top up their VodaPay wallet.

VodaPay was created as an accessible tool that would allow customers to access multiple services, from online shopping to sending money and paying bills. With Stitch, VodaPay customers can make instant topups directly from their bank accounts, without the need to visit a store or kiosk.

“My experience working with Stitch has been phenomenal. From day one, I knew that this was going to be a perfect partnership for VodaPay,” said Zweli Zulu, Product and Payments Lead at VodaPay. Zweli is particularly excited about our white labelling, secured tokenisation, quick turnaround times and our commitment to making this a truly beneficial partnership.

He added, “Stitch offered the best support model from the start of the integration, where Stitch was even willing to have their software engineers working with the VodaPay team on site.”

This collaboration underscores the shared commitment of both companies to advancing digital transformation and promoting financial inclusion in Africa. As VodaPay continues to grow, it’s clear that partnerships like this are pivotal in bringing more customers into the digital economy.
