Ecobank Uganda Partners with Ria Money Transfer to Enhance Remittance Services

Ecobank Uganda has joined forces with Ria Money Transfer, a global leader in cross-border remittance services, to expand and simplify money transfer options across the country. This partnership will enable customers to receive funds directly into their Ecobank accounts, improving accessibility and efficiency.
In addition to direct account deposits, both Ecobank account holders and non-account holders can conveniently collect cash transfers at any Ecobank branch or through the bank’s extensive sub-agent network nationwide.
Speaking on the collaboration, Grace Muliisa, Managing Director of Ecobank Uganda, highlighted the importance of seamless financial solutions for Africans in the diaspora. She expressed excitement about working with Ria Money Transfer to enhance the security and reliability of remittance services for Ugandans.
El Hadj Malick Seck, Managing Director of Ria Money Transfer, Africa, emphasized Uganda’s strategic role in Ria’s operations and noted that this partnership would provide even greater convenience for Ugandans receiving money from abroad.
This initiative strengthens financial inclusion by making international money transfers more accessible, secure, and efficient for individuals and families across Uganda.
